概要

概要	一般社団法人軽金属学会国際交流委員会では，アジア地区の軽金属関係の研究者・技術者のネットワークづくりを目的として2006年に国際交流プログラム（International Communication Program，ICP）活動を開始しました。ICPは国際フォーラム（AsianForum on Light Metals： AFLM）の企画を中心とした情報交換活動を展開しており，各地域の代表者が集うICP meetingを各地域持ち回りで実施するとともに，その活動の一環として軽金属に関するアジアシンポジウム（Asian Forum on Light Metals，AFLM）を日本（2006 年），台湾（2007 年），韓国（2008 年），中国（2010 年）ならびに日本（2012 年）で開催してまいりました。回を重ねる毎に内容が充実し，加盟地域の交流が確実に深まってまいりましたが，当該交流事業の主体がアジア地域の研究者・技術者であることに鑑み，2012年のICP meetingにおいて今後の組織運営が協議され，ICPをAsian Light Metals Association（ALMA）と改め，ICP meetingをALMA Meeting，AFLMをALMA Forumと改称しました。また，これに併せてALMA事務局を軽金属学会の中に置き，ALMAに関する会議を日本で隔年開催（偶数年）することも承認されました。 　これまでにALMA Forumは原則として秋期講演大会に併せてALMA Forum 2014（ 東京），ALMA Forum 2016（ 京都），ALMAForum 2018（ 東京）で開催されてきました。最近ではコロナ感染症拡大のためALMA Forum 2020および2022が延期される状況でしたが，5 年ぶりに秋期講演大会に併せてALMA Forum 2023を開催する運びとなりました。本フォーラムはALMA Forumへ改称後，4回目のフォーラムとなります。「環境とエネルギー」をテーマに，日本，台湾，韓国，中国，そしてオーストラリアの各地域から2 名の講師をお招きし，軽金属材料の学術・技術に関する動向や最新のトピックスについて貴重な講演をしてい ただきます。国内外の参加者と密度の濃い意見交換ならびに情報交換が企画されていますので，この機会をお見逃しなく，ふるってご参加下さい。
